Which Iowa Representative voted AGAINST reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and AGAINST displaying the American flag in public schools? Our very own Iowa House Rep D46 Lisa Heddens earned that honor on 4/24/09 (Iowa House Bills H-1548 H-1556 respectively.) If Rep. Lisa Heddens does not feel our country and flag should be honored in our public schools, what else is she going to vote against? Our freedom? Our constitution? Our citizens? Our military? Did Lisa represent you during this vote on April 24, 2009? Did you ask her to vote against displaying our American flag in public schools? I've knocked on hundreds of doors in HD46 and no one that has voted for Lisa Heddens in the past even KNEW she voted against the displaying of the American Flag and the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools and they were as appalled as I was to hear this. Lisa is clearly not representing “We the People” and is putting her own self serving agenda before the people she represents. Vote for a candidate who will vote in favor of displaying the American flag in our schools and in favor of starting the school day with the Pledge of Allegiance. Vote for Chad Steenhoek in House District 46! It’s time to send Lisa back home where she can wallow in her shame for the American flag and our allegiance to it. Please vote Chad Steenhoek, Republican in HD46 on Nov. 2.
